Search selected words on the site you choose.
Look up a term from a PDF straight on Wikipedia.
Select a few words in any app and press ⌃⌥⌘G. Your browser opens Google with exactly that search. Line breaks from a PDF become spaces.
Google, DuckDuckGo, Wikipedia, NCBI PubMed and DeepL are there from the start. In Settings › Lookup you add any other site with its search address, and each one gets its own row for a shortcut.
- Your clipboard stays as it was
- The selected words are never logged
The app has a short tutorial for this. In the settings window, click Try it on the spoon’s page or press Command 5 ⌘ 5 for Tutorials.
